I’m not someone who seeks out friendships at work. I'm friendly, yes, but I’ve always seen the workplace as just that: a place to work.

Still, over the years, I’ve built a strong network of people who’ve been in my life far beyond job titles and shared Slack channels.

Every now and then, you meet someone at work who becomes more than a “favorite colleague.” The kind of person you genuinely enjoy beyond deadlines and deliverables.

When the connection holds up even outside of the job, that's a beautiful blessing.
